Writing Consultation Services
Our writing consultations are one-on-one meetings designed to support you at any stage of your writing process. Whether you need feedback on a draft, help planning your project, or strategies to overcome writing barriers, our consultations are tailored to meet your goals. We provide constructive analysis, structure to your writing process, and collaborative guidance to help you achieve your writing objectives.
Our writing consultations are collaborative. Your consultant will listen to your goals, offer observations, and raise issues to address in your writing. The session will focus on your priorities, and you will engage in an interactive dialogue to develop revision strategies. Consultants do not line-edit papers but will work with you to improve your writing's clarity, concision, and correctness.
We work with a variety of writing projects, including course papers, presentations, theses, dissertation chapters, articles, publications, applications, and writing for public audiences.
To book a consultation, use our online scheduler available through the link below. When scheduling, you can specify the sections or elements of your paper you'd like help with or any feedback you've received that you'd like to address.
Drafts are not required but are recommended. If you have a draft, please upload it at least 24 hours in advance for 1-10 page drafts and at least 48 hours in advance for drafts of 11-20 pages. This allows your consultant to prepare thoroughly for your session.
Consultations are available via Zoom from 9am to 7pm on weekdays.You may visit our consultation calendar to book a session below if you are a current client.
We offer a satisfaction guarantee for the first consultation. If you are not fully satisfied with the initial consultation, you may request a refund for the first hour or a complimentary follow-up session to address any concerns.
Appointments can be canceled up to 24 hours in advance through our online system. If an emergency arises within 24 hours of your appointment, please contact your Writing Consultant immediately to explain the situation.
